Sawtooth Left Zipper Foot for the Sailrite Ultrafeed LS & Leatherwork Portable Walking Foot Sewing Machine.
This left roping zipper foot is designed for use with the Sailrite Ultrafeed LS, Leatherwork and Stitch Master Sewing Machine. A specialty presser foot, the left zipper foot is designed to sew next to zippers and boltropes with a straight stitch. This foot should be used with the standard, OEM inside presser foot. When sewing, the needle will go to the right of the roping zipper foot's toe.
The foot’s “roping” design makes it possible to sew very close to the rope inside a fabric sleeve. While sailmakers sometimes use this for boltrope, it is most commonly employed for large cording that won’t fit under a regular cording foot.
Left zipper feet are more common than right zipper feet.
